Melissa Fisher's Birthday Celebration

Today we attended church at Nelsonville and helped Melissa Fisher celebrate her birthday. After the service a potluck dinner was planned, the food was delicious and I think Melissa was surprised. It was a nice day for it, just a little hot :)

A Day at Clear Creek Park

Today we went to Clear Creek Park, it so so pretty there, and peaceful. After leaving the park I found a Yard Sale, at a really nice house and they had ALOT so I stopped. I hit the Jackpot! She had just opened today and had not advertised yet, wow. I got 2 very nice Home Interior pictures for $2.00 each. Clothes for Candi (some new) for $1.00 and Canaan got a camping chair with a cooler in the bottom. And Steve was delighted with an animated Santa Claus that he got, and even more so when he got it home and found that it does work.
We then had dinner in Lancaster before coming home for Prayer service. God came and met with us again tonight and Steve is continuing to improve.

Candace Joy

I wanted to share this picture that someone snapped of my Princess on Saturday. Can you see the mischief shining in her eyes? She keeps life very interesting! What did we ever do without her? She has added Joy to our lives. Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!

Happy Birthday Sweetheart

I am so thankful that God gave my husband Life, though his beginnings were hard and they did not know if he would make it, I am so glad that he survived. I am thankful that he was raised by godly parents that taught him the same values that my parents were teaching me, and that God put us together. Life with Steve has been a real adventure, and though he has lived with Cerebral Palsy he has not allowed it to hinder life and how he lives it. He is the Godliest man I know. I am thankful that I got to meet him, and eternally thankful to God that He gave this man to me. I think it is so neat that his birthday is on 08-08-08. :-)

Faith Chapel VBS

Chauncey Faith Chapel had VBS all week and ended it with a program and pizza party at the park. It was really nice, Brent and Benita Peters did an excellent job, and my kids really enjoyed going each evening. In the picture above Candi is sliding down to Bethany Peters, she is a sweet little girl.
Pizza! Yum, Yum!!

Judy Vaught and her daughter Marsha with a cake they made. It was beautiful, the Bible School theme was "The Fruit of the Spirit" and they decorated the cake with fruit and a fruit basket in the center. It was delicious too.

My hubby floating around... and so patriotic :P

Canaan trying to RELAX!!

Today we spent the day in Springfield, OH with some dear friends! The food was delicious!! You were right Virg the strawberry pie was the best we've ever tasted!! Yum! :-)
The kids had a blast... swimming! Candi enjoyed the kiddie pool and playing with the grandchildren and thier toys. Canaan didn't want to get out of the pool and leave... All good things must come to an end. :-(
We became acquainted with Virgil and Betty Haynes while we were pastoring the Cambridge Church. They were vacationing at Salt Fork and stopped in one Sunday morning. From there a friendship was born and we thank God for allowing our paths to cross.
Thanks Virgil and Betty for a great day of fun and the wonderful meal! We love you guys!
