Indiana Trip

We had a nice weekend in Indiana...Nice family time on Friday evening and Saturday... We got a great Hotel in Indianapolis for $25.00, it is so nice when Priceline excepts ridiculous offers like that :) It was at Extended Stay America so we had a full kitchen which was nice for Sunday lunch. On Sunday morning we were in Terre Haute, IN and then for the evening service we were with the Cantleberry's at the new church just recently started in Greencastle, IN. After the service we went to Bill and Tammy's for yummy baked potatoes with every topping imaginable. Everything was delicious! We had a wonderful time. Love being part of God's family...

Oct...Pastor Appreciation Month

I am thankful for Jason, Melissa and the children. I love them not just because they are family but because he is a wonderful Shepherd and she is a gentle, caring Pastor's wife. They both are dedicated to the ministry, and take their roles as leaders very serious. I love being part of their flock during this part of our journey. So thankful God lead them back to Nelsonville for such a time as this. Love you guys...

Just Because...

I thought I should update my blog since it has been so long :/

On August 31 I arrived at my mom's to spend a few days and much to my dismay :) My sister was there to surprise me, and I was. We had a nice time, mom took off a day of work and we took the kids to the Akron zoo. That evening Gene took us all out on the boat...So relaxing, especially with Brenda along :D

On Wednesday night we met our friends Jason and Tammy at Cracker Barrel and then went to check on a church and meet a Pastor. It was a really nice time, and the Pastor and I discovered we are from the same great State of WV and we knew alot of the same people...very interesting!

Brenda had to leave on Thursday to head back to Waynesburg and my family left on Friday morning. It was a nice week, I love spending time with my sister and my mom.

Summer Camps...

Summer time means Summer Camps...We have been to four this summer, the reason I haven't been home to blog :) We have had alot of fun, made alot of memories as a family and with some wonderful friends. God has been so good to us, and I am so thankful for the refreshing times that camp brings. Our summer camp season has come to an end, and I am happy to be home for a short time until we hit the road again, next stop California...I will post more about that later.

Changing of the Guard...President

Passing the torch from one President to the new President

My Uncle Ab and Aunt Myrtle...A great President of Clinton Camp.
Ab resigned the President position at Clinton camp, he was a great President and did a fabulous job of improving the camp ground while he was in office. He said that it was time to resign because he is an old man. Smiles. The Victory Trio planned a beautiful service on the last Sunday afternoon and Penny wrote 2 songs that the young people sang. It was so touching.
Although we were saddened to see Uncle Ab step down, we know they deserve a break. And we are thrilled that he passed the torch to Bro. James Southerland and his sweet wife Patsy. God is so good!
